About

CClaude Photography is an extension of a lifetime exploring the wilderness. Growing up my father would bring me back country skiing, and as a child I started to climb. At the age of 15 I was climbing Mt Rainier in Washington State and watching the sunrise above the clouds, I wanted the moment to last forever. I continued to climb around the world, in the Himalayas, in the Andes and extensively in the United States, Canada and Japan. In 2013 I broke my neck in 7 places in a mountain biking accident and while recovering took to imaging the night sky, since I always found the night sky to be peaceful.

Chuck Claude has a doctorate in Chemistry living in Flagstaff Arizona. After getting a doctorate at the Tandon School of Engineering at NYU, he has lived in Tokyo, New York, San Francisco before settling in Flagstaff.
